BWPA & SISTEM Empowered Water Professionals Through Executive Presence Series

In 2025, the Black Water Professionals Alliance (BWPA), in partnership with SISTEM, launched a three-part professional development webseries designed to support the growth of water professionals and emerging leaders across the industry.

As part of the series, Owning Your Executive Presence featured leadership expert Bridgett Battles, who shared valuable insights on building confidence, strengthening professional presence, and intentionally shaping how individuals are seen and heard in the workplace. Participants gained practical strategies to enhance their leadership impact, communicate with purpose, and stand out in their organizations.

The session brought together professionals from operations, engineering, policy, and other areas of the water sector, creating an engaging space for learning, growth, and career development. This collaborative effort reflected BWPA and SISTEM's continued commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders and advancing excellence throughout the water industry.
